Kamenoi Hotel launches sake label collection books to promote brewery tours
Kamenoi Hotel, operated by Iconia Hospitality, will begin selling limited-edition original design ‘Goshuincho’ (sake stamp books) at its 39 locations across Japan starting October 1, 2026, to coincide with ‘Sake Day.’ Developed in collaboration with Kakimoto Shoji, these 46-page books allow travelers to collect and paste sake labels from 270 certified breweries nationwide, providing a space to record memories and tasting notes.
This initiative aligns with growing interest in alcohol-focused tourism in Japan. A survey by Hankyu Travel indicates that travelers are increasingly seeking destinations specifically for sake breweries and wineries. Hokkaido ranked first in popularity for such trips, followed by Yamanashi and Nagano, driven by the expanding number of wineries and the historical charm of traditional brewing facilities.
