Kangal dog raised in industrial workshop wins beauty contest

Bozok, a one-year-old Kangal dog raised in an industrial setting, has won first place in the 6-12 month category at the Kangal Beauty Contest organized by the Sivas Municipality.

Owned by İsmail Demirkoparan, who operates a mobile platform and scaffolding manufacturing business in Sivas, Bozok has served as the workplace mascot since being adopted at 25 days old. Despite the challenges of growing up in a factory environment, which often resulted in dirty fur, Bozok was carefully groomed for the competition.

Demirkoparan expressed pride in the achievement, noting that while they entered the festival primarily to showcase the Kangal breed rather than to win, the victory was a significant source of happiness. He added that Bozok provides motivation and joy to the employees during the manufacturing process.
