Kangana Ranaut condemns opposition protests in India's Lok Sabha over NEET controversy

BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut criticised opposition members disrupting the Lok Sabha during the opening day of the Monsoon Session. She said Parliament is meant for debate and accountability, not for ruckus, and warned that the government cannot be "arm‑twisted" into removing ministers. The protests, organised by the Cockroach Janatha Party, demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET‑UG 2026 examination controversy and raised allegations of irregularities in the Ram Mandir donation case. Speaker Om Birla appealed for order, but the House was adjourned until noon. Ranaut urged the demonstrators, “If you feel so strongly, you should stand for election yourself.”
