Japanese food and retail sectors announce seasonal menus and payment updates

Various Japanese food and retail businesses have announced new seasonal products and service updates for late 2026.

Kura Sushi is launching its 2027 New Year Osechi collections, including a new Japanese-Western two-tier set and a renewed sweets Osechi, with early bird discounts available through October 31.

In the dining sector, Yoshinoya’s specialty brand Karubi no Toriko is hosting an ‘Autumn Stamina Festival’ starting September 1, featuring new beef karubi bowls and sets. Kirishima Factory Garden is introducing new main dishes for its weekend lunch buffet, while Sushi Maru Dogo is planning new premium sushi menus following successful seasonal sales.

WASHU BLUE RESORT Kasago in Okayama is also launching an autumn buffet featuring various fried dishes, including seasonal items like Shine Muscat.

Regarding payments, AEON Pay has become available at approximately 950 Qual Pharmacies nationwide starting September 1. Additionally, Kappa Sushi is running a promotional campaign with au PAY throughout September, offering discounts and point giveaways.
