Three Injured in Karabük‑Bartın Highway Crash Involving Worker Minibus
A chain collision occurred at Çayırlar Kavşağı in the Çaydüzü neighbourhood of Bartın, on the Karabük‑Bartın highway. A worker minibus (plate 74 AAS 971) traveling from Karabük to Bartın collided with a car (plate 06 EF 6887). The impact sent the minibus into the opposite lane, where it struck another vehicle (plate 74 BJ 103). The minibus came to rest against the curb while the car rolled over and landed in a roadside garden.
Ten factory workers inside the minibus escaped injury. The driver of the overturned car, S. Ç., and two passengers, E. S. and B. B., sustained injuries that were described as non‑life‑threatening. All three were taken to Bartın State Hospital for treatment. Police opened an investigation and traffic was temporarily controlled while the wreckage was cleared.
