Kareena Kapoor Khan’s crime thriller “Daayra” unveils first look ahead of September 18 debut

The Hindi crime thriller Daayra, directed by National Award‑winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, has released its first‑look poster. The image shows Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran standing on opposite sides of a cordoned crime scene, underscoring the film’s dual‑investigation premise and the tagline “Two Faces. Two Investigations. One Truth.” The story, inspired by true events, follows parallel investigations that converge on a single truth, probing public perception, moral ambiguity and justice. Daayra is produced by Junglee Pictures in partnership with Pen Studios and will be distributed by Pen Marudhar. The theatrical release is scheduled for 18 September 2026.
