Karim Adeyemi joins Germany squad early for Nations League
Germany national team coach Jürgen Klopp has adjusted his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. Karim Adeyemi, currently playing for FC Barcelona, has been called up to join the squad earlier than originally planned.
Adeyemi was initially scheduled to participate in the third and fourth matches against Serbia and Greece. However, due to physical load concerns regarding Bayern Munich midfielder Lennart Karl, Adeyemi will now join the team sooner to participate in the opening match against the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
Klopp is implementing a job-sharing model for the international break, calling up 44 players. The squad includes 16 debutants as the team seeks to rebuild following recent competitive setbacks. In addition to Adeyemi, Barcelona's Marc ter Stegen is also included in the German camp.
