A variety of cultural and leisure activities open across the Czech Republic for the first summer weekend. In Zlín a street festival features music, workshops and performances by acts such as Buty and The Tap Tap, while the Ignis Brunensis drone light show and fireworks take place at the Brno reservoir. Špindlerův Mlýn hosts its traditional fair with folk groups and a mass, and the nearby Zámek Svojšín offers a garden festival with historic cuisine and live music. Vamberk holds an international lace festival showcasing craftsmen from around the world.

In the Vysočina region, the Zámek Žďár nad Sázavou presents the “Cesta do pralesa” live animal exhibit, Šikland runs its 17th international motorbike rally with concerts, and KoresponDance delivers dance and theater projects. Ivan Hlas Trio delivers a free concert in Zubří, and a colorful family run takes place in Žďár. Prachatice’s “Slavnosti Zlaté stezky” and Netolice’s 35th theatre‑summer bring historic parades, performances and markets. The Ústecký region offers Zámecké slavnosti in Šluknov, a Guláš‑cooking competition in Libouchce, open‑air concerts and cinema screenings, plus sport tournaments.

Further south, Vysočina hosts a Burger Festival, free concert series in Úsobí, and a Bluegrass & Jeep festival. In Karlovy Vary, the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival runs from 3‑11 July across multiple venues, complemented by screenings in nearby towns.
