Karlsruher SC defeats Preußen Münster to advance in DFB-Pokal

Karlsruher SC advanced to the second round of the DFB-Pokal following a 2-1 comeback victory against Preußen Münster. Despite a strong first half from the third-division hosts, the second-division side secured the win in the latter stages of the match.

Preußen Münster took an early lead in the 35th minute through a goal by Montell Ndikom. However, Karlsruher SC captain Marvin Wanitzek equalized with a powerful strike from 27 meters out, clocked at 107 kilometers per hour. Sebastian Jung secured the win for Karlsruhe in the 86th minute after receiving a header from Moritz Broschinski.

The match was played before a sold-out crowd of nearly 20,000 spectators at the Preußenstadion.
