Karnataka approves ₹29,679 crore in industrial investment projects
The Karnataka government has approved investment projects totaling ₹29,679 crore, which are expected to create more than 66,000 jobs across the state’s industrial sector.
Key investments include ₹2,300 crore from Mahindra Aerostructures for aerospace manufacturing in Kolar and ₹2,195 crore from Vibrancy Renewable Energies for IT and ITES office space in Bengaluru. Other major contributors include Hero Future Energies with ₹9,760 crore, Aequs Consumer Products with ₹1,104 crore, and Toyota Kirloskar Motor with ₹1,200 crore for a Business Intelligence Hub.
The approvals were granted during the 68th State High Level Clearance Committee meeting, chaired by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. The projects span multiple sectors, including aerospace, electronics manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and business intelligence.
