Karnataka Wins Best Nature & Wildlife Tourism Destination Award at IITM Bengaluru 2026

Karnataka Tourism was awarded the ‘Best Nature & Wildlife Tourism Destination’ prize at the 26th India International Travel Mart (IITM) Bengaluru 2026, held from 23–25 July at the Tripura Vasani Palace Grounds. The award ceremony was opened by Karnataka’s Minister for Energy and Tourism, K. J. George, and highlighted the state’s wildlife conservation and nature‑based tourism offerings.

Separately, Kerala is gearing up for its 13th Kerala Travel Mart, scheduled for 24‑27 September 2026 in Kochi. The four‑day event will feature an inaugural ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Convention Centre, Bolgatty, followed by exhibitions and B2B meetings at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres on Willingdon Island, aiming to showcase the state’s hotels, resorts, houseboats, wellness retreats and adventure tourism to domestic and international buyers.
