Karolos Koun Art Theatre announces new season lineup

The Karolos Koun Art Theatre is launching its new theatrical season with a series of limited-run performances at the Frynichou stage. The season opens on October 2 with the Greek version of Giuseppe Massa’s political allegory, ‘The Miracle’, directed by Nikoleta Filologlou and starring Thanasis Dimou and Panagiotis Panagopoulos.

On October 3, the theatre will present ‘The Confessions of Elli Alexiou’, a production based on Eva Nikolaidou’s book and directed by Angelos Bouras, featuring Alexandra Sakellaropoulou. These two productions will run until November 1, leading into the upcoming premiere of Henrik Ibsen’s ‘Rosmersholm’ on November 12.

The theatre is also preparing to announce its full 2026-2027 season program on October 12, which will include Stamatis Fasoulis’s autobiographical monologue, ‘The Theatre or Your Life’, scheduled for premiere on October 16.
