Karposh Municipality to receive 11 million euros for infrastructure projects

Aleksandar Nikoloski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, has announced an 11 million euro investment package for the Karposh Municipality in North Macedonia. Following a meeting with Mayor Sotir Lukrovski, the government confirmed that approximately 5.5 million euros of this total will be managed directly through the Ministry of Transport.

The investment cycle focuses on critical infrastructure, including the construction of squares, streets, and both atmospheric and fecal sewage systems. Additionally, the projects aim to address environmental and safety concerns by sanitizing landslide-prone areas near the Kozle, Trnodol, and Zhdanec settlements.

To address urban congestion, the government is collaborating with the Public Enterprise for Management of Residential and Business Space to implement integrated parking solutions. These plans include the development of underground and multi-level garages to serve the Karposh 1, 2, 3, and 4 neighborhoods while preserving green spaces and parks.
