Kars flood control projects inspected by DSİ officials

Serdar Kotan, the Regional Director of the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) 24th Region, conducted on-site inspections of ongoing flood control projects within the Kars province. Accompanied by a technical team including branch managers and contractor representatives, Kotan evaluated the progress and technical compliance of various construction sites.

The inspections covered several locations, including the villages of Başköy and Gürbüzler in the Selim district, as well as the Sarıkamış district center and the villages of Mescitli and Kalebaş. The technical evaluations focused on the implementation processes, quality control, and adherence to project schedules.

These projects aim to mitigate flood risks in residential and agricultural areas to protect lives and property. Officials emphasized the importance of maintaining technical precision and ensuring that the works proceed according to the planned timelines to prevent potential flood damage.
