Kars Gendarmerie Trains 207 Village Students in Traffic Safety

The Kars provincial gendarmerie held traffic‑safety seminars for a total of 207 primary and middle‑school students in the Sarıkamış district villages of Çamyazı and İnkaya. The first session reached 121 pupils in Çamyazı, followed by a second session for 86 pupils in İnkaya.

During the seminars, gendarmerie traffic teams explained basic traffic definitions, general road rules, safe crossing at pedestrian and school zones, the importance of seat‑belt use and school‑bus safety, as well as bicycle safety measures such as helmets, gloves, pads and reflective vests. Each child received traffic‑themed coloring and reading books, and the gendarmerie pledged to continue the program to promote early traffic awareness.
