The renovation, which has been in preparation for two years, is scheduled to begin this October following the end of the current season, with completion expected by May of next year.

Key upgrades include a new roofed structure designed by architect Roman Osika to serve as a central hub for cultural and social events. The facility will feature improved amenities such as a bar, warehouses, expanded hygiene facilities, and upgraded supply access. Additionally, the project will enhance the park's recreational offerings by expanding the children's playground and adding new equipment to the workout area, alongside new tree plantings.

Mayor Jan Wolf stated that the goal is to provide higher quality facilities for the community while maintaining the area's unique atmosphere. The project's progress may be influenced by weather conditions during the winter months.
