Karşıyaka Municipality Converts Sports Complex Room into Child Development Center

Karşıyaka Municipality announced that an administrative room in the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Sports Complex will be repurposed for a child development centre offering talent assessment, psychological support and parent counselling. The decision, described as a public‑benefit measure, is not intended to weaken the Karşıyaka Sports Club.

The municipality emphasized that the club will continue to use the complex’s facilities, including sports halls, artificial turf fields and club offices, and will retain access to advertising revenues. Officials said the reallocation transforms a space used by a few individuals into a centre serving hundreds of local children and families.
