Karşıyaka Municipality renovates student dormitory for new term

The Karşıyaka Municipality Mustafa Kemal Higher Education Girls' Student Dormitory has completed comprehensive maintenance, repair, and renovation works to prepare for the new academic term.

Improvements to the facility include roof repairs, painting, and the replacement of furniture within student rooms. Security has been enhanced through upgraded camera and security systems, alongside increased fire safety measures. The dormitory has a total capacity of 30 students, distributed across seven rooms.

Mayor Yıldız Ünsal stated that the municipality will continue to work toward ensuring equality of opportunity in education. Students interested in applying for housing can contact officials via telephone until September 7.
