Kastoria's White Night and Choriti's Saint Paraskevi Festival draw crowds in July 2026
For the third year in a row, Kastoria hosts the White Night music event on July 19, 2026. The outdoor concert takes place in the historic courtyard of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle in the Dotsó neighbourhood. Organized by the Kastoria Scholarship Association together with the New York‑based Association of Kastorians, the program features a live tribute to composer Mimis Plesa, regional wines, catering from local firms and broadcast by Radio Astra FM.
A week later, the village of Choriti celebrates Saint Paraskevi with a three‑day cultural programme from July 25‑27, 2026. The municipality of Pylaias‑Choriti, the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Tourism and the local community council coordinate processions, evening masses, a traditional kurbani with orchestra, choirs and folk groups, and a charitable exhibition of relics. Proceeds support restoration of the historic St. George church. All events are free and accessible via public transport.
