Kateřina Brožová organizes tribute concert for Václav Hybš

Singer, actress, and producer Kateřina Brožová is organizing a tribute concert for the legendary Czech conductor Václav Hybš. Originally intended to celebrate Hybš's 90th birthday, the event has been transformed into a memorial following his passing.

The concert, titled ‘Pocta Václavu Hybšovi’ (Tribute to Václav Hybš), will take place on October 16 at the Divadlo Broadway in Prague. Organized by Brožová's agency, Divinus, in collaboration with Hybš's wife, Jarmila, the event aims to serve as a celebration of his life rather than a funeral service.

The program will feature the Václav Hybš Orchestra alongside various performers, including Jitka Zelenková, Bohuš Matuš, Radim Schwab, and Duo Kamélie. The performance will include songs arranged by Hybš, supplemented by archival television and concert recordings.
