Katerina Moutsatsou defends political contributions to Elpida gia ti Dimokratia

Katerina Moutsatsou has issued a public response to claims made by Maria Karystianou, president of the political movement ‘Elpida gia ti Dimokratia’. Moutsatsou addressed allegations regarding her level of involvement with the party, specifically concerning her work within the culture sector.

Moutsatsou criticized the leadership for attempting to ‘downgrade the contribution of people because they chose to leave’ or portraying their work as non-existent. She clarified that during her two-month tenure, she systematically developed two comprehensive programmatic proposals. These included a program for culture and cultural heritage, focusing on the protection of monuments, archaeological sites, and the public character of cultural heritage.
