Katowice extends free vocational training program for local workers

The city of Katowice has extended the recruitment period for its “Postaw na rozwój – podnieś kwalifikacje” (Bet on Development – Raise Qualifications) project. Originally intended to run until the initial quota was met, the program is now open until the end of 2026 or until available funds are exhausted.

The initiative provides 100% financing for professional training and skill development for residents working in Katowice under civil law or short-term contracts. To date, 150 people have utilized the program. Participants can receive support tailored to their Individual Action Plan, covering areas such as digital competencies, soft skills, green economy training, and certification exams.
