Kaufland updates loyalty program to Kaufland Card XTRA

Kaufland is transforming its loyalty program from Kaufland Card to Kaufland Card XTRA. Starting August 26, the new system will allow customers to collect points ten times faster, earning one point for every 10 CZK spent instead of the previous requirement of 100 CZK.

Key features of the update include 'XTRA rewards,' which allow customers to exchange accumulated points for selected free products. The reward selection will be updated regularly, and products can be obtained repeatedly based on availability. The program also introduces a new mascot named Xara.

Additionally, the Kaufland mobile application has been modernized to provide a more user-friendly experience. The updated interface includes a home screen showing total spent, points earned, and savings from the last purchase, alongside a dedicated 'Benefits' section for coupons and partner offers. For existing users, the transition will be automatic, with all current points recalculated under the new system on August 26.
