Kayseri Fire Department conducts emergency training for TPAO
The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department has completed a 15-day comprehensive fire safety and emergency response training program. The initiative was conducted at the request of Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı (TPAO) at its production sites located in Batman, Siirt, Diyarbakır, and Mardin.
The training program combined theoretical instruction with practical exercises to enhance the emergency response capabilities of field personnel. Theoretical sessions covered topics such as correct reporting to the 112 Emergency Call Center, the mechanics of combustion, fire classifications, and preventative measures.
Practical training included the use of portable fire extinguishers, clean air breathing devices, and emergency escape masks. The program also featured specialized modules for kitchen fire prevention and LPG-related emergencies, alongside drills for managing traffic accidents and coordinating responses in administrative buildings.
