Kayseri Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç Advances Prison Programs, Festival and Park Renewal

Kayseri Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç highlighted municipal support for correctional‑facility education at the opening of the İşyurtları Ürün ve El Sanatları Fair, saying the KAYMEK program helps “bring people back to society” through training.

He later attended the 10th International Circassian Festival in Pınarbaşı, where thousands gathered for traditional music, crafts and a bicycle tour, with performances by notable Circassian artists. The event was attended by regional officials and highlighted Kayseri’s role as a cultural hub.

During a district visit, Büyükkılıç inspected the renovation of Elbiz Park in Develi, noting that the modernised, multifunctional space will serve residents of all ages and reflect the city’s commitment to communal infrastructure.
