Kayseri hosts library opening and infrastructure inspections

Several municipal and social developments are underway in Kayseri, Turkey. Kocasinan Municipality has officially opened the Yenişehir Public Library (Sinan Library). The opening ceremony was attended by Hulusi Akar, Chairman of the TBMM National Defense Commission, and other local officials. Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar stated that the municipality aims to build a city enriched with libraries to serve all age groups, particularly youth.

In infrastructure news, the Kartal Interchange Project is nearing a significant milestone. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç and AK Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş inspected the construction site, where the final of 2,511 fore piles has been poured. The project, funded by the World Bank and coordinated by İller Bankası, is approximately 60% complete and is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of 2026.

Additionally, Mayor Büyükkılıç and Hulusi Akar met with martyr families and veterans in Kayseri. During the gathering, Akar noted that legislative improvements have benefited approximately 150,000 martyr families and veterans, emphasizing the state's commitment to their welfare and the goal of a terror-free Turkey.
