KEDS schedules widespread power outages in Kosovo for Thursday

The Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS) announced that on Thursday, 30 July 2026, maintenance work will be carried out on the power system, resulting in scheduled electricity interruptions in multiple locations.

Interruptions will affect areas in Pristina, Obiliq, Peja and surrounding villages. The work includes preventive maintenance, testing of protection relays, and installation of new cables, with outage times ranging from 10:00 to 18:00 depending on the sub‑station.

Residents in villages such as Kushevit, Old School, Old Mosque, Kalaticë, Brainë, and others are advised to prepare for the temporary loss of electricity during the specified periods.
