Keiko Fujimori attends national mass and visits prison in La Libertad

President Keiko Fujimori attended the 'Misa por la Nación' at the Sanctuary of Las Nazarenas, an event featuring state authorities and members of the Brotherhood of the Lord of Miracles. During the ceremony, Cardinal Carlos Castillo offered prayers for the health of Pope Leo XIV, who is scheduled for surgery, and called for national dialogue and understanding to overcome the country's difficulties.

In the La Libertad region, Fujimori visited the El Milagro prison in Trujillo. Following the visit, Fuerza Popular deputy Geanmarco Quezada defended the President's actions, including her message to inmates to maintain good behavior to aid their resocialization. Quezada also supported Fujimori's recent defense of Minister Astudillo during a political altercation with members of Congress.
