Keiko Fujimori delivers aid to Purús and announces connectivity measures

President Keiko Fujimori visited the Purús province in the Ucayali region to deliver approximately four tons of humanitarian aid to residents of the Amazonian border area. During the visit, the President addressed the historical isolation of the province by announcing the return of civilian flights to improve transportation and communication with the rest of the country.

To address long-term integration, Fujimori announced that the government will conduct a feasibility study to find a definitive solution for the province's connectivity challenges. The President emphasized a commitment to regular visits from central government authorities and expressed the intention to inaugurate future infrastructure projects, including a school, a health post, and a police station.
