KEK Sh. A. to form safety task force after worker deaths

The Board of Directors and management of KEK Sh. A. have announced the formation of an Industrial Safety and Occupational Health Task Force following the deaths of workers. The task force will include external experts and is charged with conducting a full review of existing protocols, procedures, standards, and mechanisms to identify deficiencies and implement improvements.

Competent authorities and forensic experts are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. KEK management stated that workplace risk assessments are currently being implemented and that the results will serve as a basis for further measures to reduce workplace hazards. The corporation emphasized that worker safety and health remain an absolute priority, stating that no operational or production objective can take precedence over the lives of employees.
