Kelechi Iheanacho scores twice in Bursaspor comeback win

Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice to lead Bursaspor to a 2-1 comeback victory against Batman Petrolspor in the Turkish 1. Lig. The performance extended Iheanacho’s scoring streak to eight consecutive matches.

With this brace, Iheanacho has reached 11 goals and two assists in just eight appearances since joining the club as a free agent. His current run matches a club record set by former striker Fernandao, who scored in eight successive matches during the 2014/15 season. The victory keeps Bursaspor at the top of the league table.
