Kelly Osbourne addresses estrangement from sister Aimee

Kelly Osbourne has addressed the long-standing estrangement between herself and her older sister, Aimee Osbourne, describing their relationship as irreparable. Speaking on the ‘We Need to Talk’ podcast, Kelly stated that the two are ‘polar opposites’ and that she has effectively cut Aimee out of her life.

Kelly expressed resentment over the lack of a sisterly bond, noting that she and brother Jack Osbourne had to navigate life without Aimee’s guidance. She suggested that Aimee’s reluctance to participate in the family’s reality show, ‘The Osbournes’, stemmed from a desire to distance herself from the family chaos and a possible embarrassment regarding their public life.

Kelly explained her decision by stating, ‘If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me... I don’t want you in my life.’ While Aimee attended the funeral of their father, Ozzy Osbourne, in Birmingham, the rift between the siblings remains a significant point of tension within the family.
