Kelly Osbourne discusses grief and estrangement from sister Aimee

Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her personal struggles and family dynamics during an appearance on the “We Need to Talk” podcast. She revealed that she experienced a relapse into drinking following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025, describing herself as a “shell” of her former self during a period of intense grief. She is currently eight months sober.

Kelly also addressed her long-standing estrangement from her older sister, Aimee Osbourne. Describing the two as “polar opposites” and “like oil and water,” Kelly stated there is no hope for reconciliation. She expressed resentment over not having a traditional big-sister relationship, noting that Aimee did not participate in the family’s reality show, “The Osbournes,” and has remained largely disconnected from Kelly and their brother, Jack.

Additionally, Kelly shared a poignant final message from Ozzy, who spoke to her three days before his passing to ensure she knew he loved her unconditionally. Kelly also touched upon her plans to produce a documentary regarding her experiences with grief and mental health.
