Kem Birch joins Aris BC with EuroCup and EuroLeague ambitions

Canadian center Kem Birch has arrived in Thessaloniki to join the Aris BC basketball squad. The former NBA player and 2025 EuroLeague champion with Fenerbahçe expressed high ambitions for the upcoming season, stating that the team has the potential to win the EuroCup and secure a spot in the EuroLeague.

Birch, who previously played for Olympiacos, noted his personal growth, describing himself as a more mature and experienced veteran compared to his first stint in Greece. He also highlighted his strong professional relationship with Aris coach Vassilis Spanoulis, noting that Spanoulis played a significant role in his career development and his subsequent move to the NBA.

In addition to European goals, Birch aims to be a leader for the team and compete for the Greek championship, acknowledging the strength of domestic rivals such as PAOK, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos.
