Aris B.C. player recruitment

The Aris B.C. basketball team in Thessaloniki has been strengthening its roster with new international signings ahead of the upcoming season.

American forward Jay Lindell arrived at Macedonia Airport, expressing enthusiasm for the club and a commitment to give ‘110%’ to the team. Lindell noted his familiarity with teammate Robinson-Earl and mentioned that his arrival follows that of Adam Mokoko.

Canadian center and former NBA player Kem Birch, a 2025 EuroLeague champion, also joined the squad. Birch, who previously played for Olympiacos, expressed ambitions for the team to win the EuroCup, secure a EuroLeague spot, and compete for the Greek championship against rivals such as PAOK, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos. He highlighted his professional relationship with Aris coach Vassilis Spanoulis, noting the coach's role in his career development.

Further bolstering the roster, American guard Matt Morgan has arrived in Thessaloniki to begin preparations. Morgan described the team's supporters as ‘incredible’ and noted that he joined the club following discussions with Spanoulis. He expressed a desire to work with the coach and aims to capitalize on the roster's quality to win every possible game. Morgan revealed that he and Spanoulis maintain a good relationship, noting that the coach had previously attempted to sign him for a different team several years ago.
