Ken Paxton to campaign in El Paso amid GOP calls for unity

Texas Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton is scheduled to hold a campaign event in El Paso on September 30 as part of his ‘Protecting the Texas Promise Tour’. He will be joined by Brandon Herrera, the Republican nominee for Congressional District 23, at The Summit Ballroom and Conference Center.

In a separate development, Texas State Senator Angela Paxton has called on Republican women to support party candidates in the upcoming November elections, even if they have reservations about specific individuals. Speaking to the Federation of Republican Women of Texas, she addressed the ‘elephant in the room,’ noting that while the party faces vulnerabilities due to certain candidate controversies, maintaining party control of seats is vital for future influence. She urged voters not to leave ballots blank due to disagreements with specific nominees.
