Kenan Busuladžić suffers serious knee injury playing for Malmö FF

Kenan Busuladžić, a 19-year-old midfielder for Malmö FF and a recent call-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, sustained a serious knee injury during a match against Örgryte. The incident occurred in the first half after a duel with Tobias Sana. Busuladžić was seen in visible pain and had to leave the pitch with the assistance of club physiotherapist David Björkman after his knee was bandaged.

Örgryte player Tobias Sana, who has previously suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, reported hearing a ‘plop’ during the incident, which heightened concerns regarding the severity of the injury. While official medical results from Malmö FF are still pending, there are fears that the player may have suffered an ACL tear.

Malmö FF coach Gaute Helstrup stated that the club does not yet have full information but expressed hope for a recovery. The injury comes at a critical time for Busuladžić, as he was scheduled to join the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for upcoming Nations League fixtures.
