Kendal hosts cycling events for Popda Jawa Tengah 2026

Kendal Regency is hosting the cycling discipline of the 2026 Central Java Regional Student Sports Week (Popda). The event features 307 student athletes from 19 regencies and cities across Central Java, participating in categories ranging from elementary to high school levels.

Competitors are competing in three main disciplines: road bike, mountain bike (MTB), and BMX Racing. The competition includes six specific categories: criterium, BMX Racing, individual road race (IRR), cross-country olympic (XCO), individual time trial (ITT), and cross-country eliminator (XCE).

Venues include the Kendal Criterium Circuit, which features a 1,080-meter lap with smooth asphalt, and the Kendal BMX Circuit, which covers approximately 5,000 square meters with a 275-meter track length.
