Kentaro Sakaguchi's wife reportedly called police following marital dispute

Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi was reportedly involved in a domestic incident that required police intervention at his home on September 17. According to reports from the Japanese publication Josei Seven, Sakaguchi’s wife placed an emergency call to 110 following an escalated argument between the couple.

The incident occurred approximately ten days after Sakaguchi announced his marriage to a non-celebrity hair and makeup artist via his official fan club on September 6. While police responded to the scene to address the dispute, no arrests or formal legal proceedings were reported.

This development follows previous scrutiny regarding Sakaguchi’s private life, including allegations from Shukan Bunshun regarding his relationship with actress Mei Nagano. Sakaguchi is currently preparing for a return to Korean television in the Asian co-production ‘Kidnap Game’, scheduled to air on Channel A.
