Kentaro Sakaguchi marriage and domestic dispute

Overview

Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi announced his marriage to a non-celebrity woman via his official fan club website on September 6, 2026. His agency, Tristone Entertainment, confirmed the news, noting that Sakaguchi intended to continue his acting career while keeping his wife’s identity private.

On September 28, 2026, reports emerged regarding a police intervention at Sakaguchi’s residence following a domestic dispute. According to reports from Josei Seven, the incident occurred on September 17 when Sakaguchi’s wife, a hair and makeup artist, placed an emergency call to 110 following an escalated argument. While police responded to the scene to address the dispute, no arrests or formal legal proceedings were reported.

This development follows previous scrutiny regarding Sakaguchi’s private life, including past allegations from Shukan Bunshun regarding a relationship with actress Mei Nagano. Sakaguchi is currently preparing for a role in the Asian co-production ‘Kidnap Game’, scheduled to air on Channel A.
