Kenya Power announces scheduled outages in eight counties

Kenya Power has announced scheduled electricity interruptions across eight counties on Wednesday, August 26. The planned outages are intended to facilitate maintenance and network works.

The affected counties include Nairobi, Machakos, Turkana, Kisumu, Bungoma, Migori, Nyeri, and Kitui. In Nairobi, interruptions will impact areas such as Githunguri Block 10, Karen, and Upperhill, with most outages scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

In Machakos County, the Konza and Ilpolosat areas, including the Konza Data Center and Konza Market, will experience outages. Turkana County residents in Lokichar, Katilu, and Kalingmorok are also scheduled for interruptions, while Kisumu County will see outages in the Tom Mboya area.
