Kenya Power announces scheduled outages in multiple counties

Kenya Power has announced several scheduled electricity interruptions across different regions to facilitate planned network maintenance.

On Friday, August 21, outages are expected in parts of Nyeri and Taita Taveta counties. In Nyeri, the interruption will affect Ngangarithi Market, Town View, Kwa Mwaura, and Kimathi Estate. In Taita Taveta, the entire Chakaleri area, including Landi, Ziwa la Ng’ombe, and Mwatunge, will experience a shutdown. Both sets of outages are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, August 22, maintenance work will affect customers along Mombasa Road in the Nairobi region. Specific areas listed include Alliance Concrete and Portland. This interruption is also expected to last from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though restoration timing depends on the progress of the works.
