Kerala Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan Blames Rahul Gandhi for Undermining INDIA Alliance

CPI(M) leader and Kerala opposition chief Pinarayi Vijayan said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's political approach weakens the INDIA alliance and often ends up helping the BJP. Vijayan referred to comments about a photograph showing Rahul Gandhi hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, arguing that the gesture conveys a message that benefits the ruling party. He noted that other non‑Congress leaders such as Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav have also raised objections to the Congress stance at the alliance meeting. The remarks were made during the Kerala Assembly election campaign, where both Vijayan and Gandhi have targeted each other in speeches.

Vijayan warned that Rahul Gandhi’s approach creates a situation where he becomes a facilitator of BJP interests, and he called for a detailed discussion on the issue, declining to elaborate further at the time.
