Keri Russell discusses relationship with Matthew Rhys

Reflecting on their history, Russell recalled the intensity of their relationship during the filming of the FX series ‘The Americans’. She described the experience of falling in love while working in character disguises on set. The pair, who played a married couple of deep-cover KGB spies, began dating in 2014 and have since welcomed a son, Sam.

Russell also touched upon the complexities of their professional lives, mentioning the difficulty of seeing each other frequently when working on separate projects. She noted that while they aim to see each other every two weeks, the nature of the industry often makes that challenging.
