Law enforcement agencies in West Africa have conducted several operations targeting illegal substances and narcotics.

In Côte d’Ivoire, the drug repression group (GRAD) seized 13 kilograms of cannabis in Guiglo during the ‘Épervier spécial’ operation. Two young men were arrested in the Dallas and Bangolo districts, and two smoking dens were destroyed.

In Senegal, police in Grand-Yoff dismantled a network involved in the illegal sale of psychotropic substances and falsified medicines. Two individuals were arrested after a surveillance operation revealed the sale of Tapentadol, amoxicillin, and ibuprofen. Authorities seized 150 tablets of Tapentadol along with various other pharmaceutical products and cash.

In Guinea, the Anti-Criminality Brigade (BAC 22) intervened at a nightclub in N’Zérékoré. Two individuals associated with shisha management were detained during the operation, though they were released a few hours later along with the seized products.
