Kevin Sinfield continues MND charity ultra-marathon challenge

Sir Kevin Sinfield is currently undertaking his ‘7in7’ ultra-marathon challenge, running seven ultra-marathons in seven days to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities. The endurance effort is inspired by his former teammate Rob Burrow, who passed away in 2024 after battling the disease.

During the fourth day of the challenge, Sinfield traveled from Wakefield through Leeds and Bradford, eventually finishing the day in Huddersfield. He received a standing ovation at the Accu Stadium and was joined by Micah Richards, who cycled alongside the group. The route included emotional returns to Headingley, the home of his former club, Leeds Rhinos.

Sinfield’s challenge aims to visit all 12 English Super League grounds, concluding with a presentation at Old Trafford. Since beginning his annual challenges in 2020, Sinfield has raised more than £11 million for the MND community.
