KFC China to launch Oreo-themed chicken burger

KFC China has announced the launch of a new Oreo Original Recipe Chicken Burger, scheduled to arrive at restaurants across the country on August 28. The product is a collaboration between KFC and Oreo that combines sweet and savory flavors.

The burger features a fried chicken thigh fillet and mashed potatoes topped with crushed Oreo pieces. It is served on two black, Oreo-flavored buns designed to resemble chocolate wafers, though the buns are made from bread. This release follows an earlier partnership between the two brands that produced Oreo cookies with a fried chicken-flavored creme filling.
