KFC expands specialty beverage and cultural dining initiatives

KFC is implementing new product and experience rollouts in Scotland and Kenya. In Scotland, the company has launched the Kwench specialty drinks range across 58 restaurants, supported by a £38 million investment from KFC and its franchise partners. The range includes 13 items such as Boba Refreshers, Iced Coffees, and Krunch Shakes, aimed at targeting Gen Z consumers. The investment also funds the installation of dedicated Kwench counters within Scottish locations.

In Kenya, KFC is debuting the Kentucky Town experience through Kentucky Town 254. Running from October 20 to November 15, 2026, the initiative features a Kenyan-inspired menu including items like the Colonel’s Mandazi Burger and Kentucky Choma Burger. The launch includes an exclusive apparel collection co-created with Nairobi-based fashion house home_254 and a series of weekend pop-up events across various Nairobi malls featuring music, games, and interactive experiences.
