Khanh Hoa and Quang Tri sign tourism and cultural cooperation deals

The provinces of Khanh Hoa and Quang Tri in central Vietnam have signed a cooperation agreement to enhance ties in tourism, culture, and sports for the 2026–2030 period. The partnership aims to create complementary travel products by linking Quang Tri’s historical and cave sites with Khanh Hoa’s coastal and resort destinations.

Key objectives of the collaboration include attracting Russian and South Korean tourists, as well as cruise passengers. The agreement involves tourism departments, investment promotion centers, and various business associations. Planned activities include joint surveys, promotional conferences, human resource training, and digital transformation initiatives.

Beyond tourism, the two provinces will collaborate on cultural exhibitions, art performances, book fairs, and media projects. This initiative follows the recent launch of the Cam Ranh-Dong Hoi air route, which further connects the two regions.
