Khanh Hoa irrigation projects face land clearance delays
Several irrigation, drought prevention, and flood control projects in Khanh Hoa are facing delays due to difficulties in land clearance and compensation.
Key issues include determining land origins, completing compensation dossiers, and resolving disputes where residents have not reached agreements. Additionally, overlapping boundaries between different projects have caused complications.
In the Tac River downstream regulation project (Phase II), which covers 82 hectares, most riverbed areas have been handed over, but compensation for 22.55 hectares of land remains ongoing. Challenges include unidentified landowners and overlaps with the Khatoco urban area and the Quan Truong River project.
